How you see yourself

Assistant Pastor Zach Zirbel on Sunday basically said, “The way you see yourself (and God) will determine your future.” It’s important you know that things can be different. Your life can change! However, as someone once said, “Your life won’t change until your thinking changes and you cannot live beyond what you believe.”

So how utterly important it is for us to see ourselves as God sees us (as dearly loved children), and then live accordingly as He changes us from the inside out through the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). All the while remembering every great blessing and precious promise is the result of God’s free gift of grace and the full work of Jesus Christ.

Attached are notes and lists used in the sermon: The 20 Cans of Success and Who I am in Christ from Neil Anderson’s book Victory Over the Darkness and “I am…” inspired from Joel Osteen’s book The Power of I am.

Personalize these truths. Write them down.Tape them to the fridge. Get them deep down in your heart…”…and the truth will set you free!”
